We are pleased to announce that the Non Arthroplasty Hip Registry has launched a Covid-19 audit for all patients being operated from 1st of June 2020, with 30 and 90 days followup to look at any Covid-19 related complications.
Patients will be contacted at various time points by email to complete a set of questions agreed by the NAHR board to ensure that we are able to gather data on a safe restart. This will include information on the precautions taken perioperatively, whether they developed Covid-19 or not, readmission rate and complication rate including DVT and PE.
A public report will be available to track your patients’ responses. The registry will do analysis on the data further in the year. Surgeons are encouraged to join and avail of the benefits of NAHR. For those who are already submitting data, please remind your patients to participate.
